Hexagrammos otakii Transcriptome or Gene expression

Fat greenling (Hexagrammos otakii) is an important commercial marine fish species cultured in northeast Asia, but the available gene sequences of fat greenling are limited. Vibrio harveyi is a severe bacterial pathogen to fat greenling and other aquatic animals, and it is one of major pathogens that causes the outbreaks of vibriosis. In order to obtain more high-quality transcript information and investigate the early immune response of fat greenling and the infection characteristic of V. harveyi, PacBio Iso-Seq combined with Illumina RNA-Seq were applied in the comprehensive transcriptome analysis of V. harveyi-infected fat greenling.
