Mollusc-based proxies for the moisture and proximity of the forest used for regression models (Appendix S1). List of shelled mollusc species categorised in ten ecological groups, according to Ložek (1964), with adjustments by Lisický (1991), Juřičková et al. (2014), Horsáková et al. (2018) and recent taxonomic and ecological updates (Appendix S2).
