Links to rare climates do not translate into distinct traits for island endemics

The data and code provided here support a published paper of the same title (doi to be confirmed). 'Final_script_funrar_FigShare' is the code to be used with the following data: 'funrar_trait_env_FlorCan_revised' is the main data file that contains trait data and environmental data (including climatic rarity). 'Tenerife_field_trait_data' is additional trait data for Tenerife (used for the supporting information) 'tree_mb_final' is a phylogenetic tree for the species used in the study. This is a pruned tree obtained from Smith & Brown (2018) 'bias_test' is the climatic rarity data for all species that have distribution data. Not all of these species have trait data, so this can be used to test for bias caused by train 'missingness'.
