Applications of Spatial Transcriptomics in Veterinary Medicine: A Scoping Review of Research, Diagnostics, and Treatment Strategies

We conducted a comprehensive literature search using PubMed, targeting studies published between 2016 and early 2025 with the most updated search string database verification conducted on February 7, 2025. The search window was selected based on the publication of the seminal paper in 2016 [1], which first introduced spatial transcriptomics as a defined methodology for gene expression profiling.本研究基于PubMed数据库开展系统性文献检索，检索范围限定为2016年至2025年初发表的相关研究，并于2025年2月7日完成了最新检索式的数据库验证。本次检索窗口的选取依据2016年发表的开创性文献[1]，该文献首次将空间转录组学（spatial transcriptomics）定义为一种用于基因表达谱分析的标准化研究方法。
