Data from: Regenerating forests around Taï National Park sustain biodiversity despite constrained floristic recovery
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the article "Regenerating forests around Taï National Park sustain biodiversity despite constrained floristic recovery" (Houphouët et al., PLOS ONE, submitted). It provides plot-, individual-, and species-level data used to quantify multidimensional biodiversity recovery (Shannon diversity, floristic composition, functional traits, and conservation-relevant species) across a chronosequence of 125 secondary forest plots (9-26 years since abandonment) and 15 old-growth reference plots (8 intact + 7 disturbed) sampled in and around Taï National Park, south-western Côte d'Ivoire. Four files are provided: Diversity_data.csv — plot-level Shannon diversity, floristic composition (Chao-Jaccard similarity), and environmental covariates Traits_data.csv — individual (stem)-level records with species-level wood density, leaf mass per area, and seed mass species_statute.csv — plot-level percentages of IUCN-listed (Endangered/Vulnerable) and old-growth indicator species meta_data_diversity.csv — machine-readable column dictionary See the accompanying README.md for full column definitions, and the associated article for sampling and modelling methods.
