Opinion on climate emergency in Italy 2019

Discussions about climate change and its consequences are rising, also due to Greta Thunberg's speech at UNO. Greta Thunberg is the founder of Friday for Future, a movement of students who take part to demonstrations to demand action against global warming.In September 2019, the majority of Italians believed that climate change was a real emergency. In particular, 65.8 percent of interviewees stated that the point of no return was reached and action against global warming was urgent. On the contrary, 20.7 percent of individuals did not think that the issue was a real emergency, whereas 6.2 percent of Italians affirmed that climate change did not exist.
