Draft genome sequence of Devosia equisanguinis M6-77T (= LMG 28855T = CCM 8737T = CIP 111628T)

A Gram-staining-negative, aerobic, non-endospore forming Devosia species, isolated from horse blood was studied for its taxonomic allocation.On the basis of 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity comparisons, strain M6-77T was grouped within the genus Devosia, most closely related to Devosia elaeis (97.6 %) and, Devosia chinhatensis and Devosia lucknowensis (both 97.3%).The 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity to other Devosia species was < 97.2 0 %.
