Soil fungi targeted loci environmental

Fungal ITS1 sequences from soil and soil aggregate fractions in corn, tall grass prairie, and fertilized tall grass prairie managed for bioenergy feedstock production. Project goal was to understand how soil fungal community composition influenced soil carbon and nitrogen storage and cycling in alternative bioenergy systems. This project holds relevance for both environmental and agricultural research.
