Replication Data for: The Logic of Ambitious Legislators in Fluid Party Systems

Two different legislator databases from Ecuador: 1) a public records dataset of every legislator who earned re-election from 1979 to 2021; and 2) the Parliamentary Elites in Latin America (PELA) surveys of all legislators from 1994-2017. Both sources distinguish between switchers and non-switchers. Additional .csv files used to produce Sankey diagrams used in publication. We include the script we used for the graphics and regression analysis.

本数据集包含两份来自厄瓜多尔的议员数据库：1）1979年至2021年间所有获得连任议员的公开记录数据集；2）1994年至2017年间所有议员的拉丁美洲议会精英（Parliamentary Elites in Latin America, PELA）调研数据集。两类数据源均对换党议员与非换党议员进行了区分。另有用于制作已发表成果中桑基图（Sankey diagrams）的附加CSV文件。本数据集同时附带了我们用于绘制图表与回归分析的脚本代码。
