Biocontrol potential and metagenomic compositions of Streptomyces rhizoryzae strain RET4-A017 against rice root knot disease

Our research presents the potential of the strain in controlling rice root knot disease caused by M. graminicola, its ability inducing nematode resistance in rice as well as promoting plant growth in soils infested with rice root knot nematode. The bacterial diversity and communities were determined using Illumina sequencing platform. The ultimate information gained is crucial for improving the efficacy of inoculants in agricultural practices.
