(Table 1) Primary production of organic carbon in the southeastern Baltic Sea in different seasons of 2003-2007

Values and seasonal variations of primary production and chlorophyll a concontration were investigated in the Russian sector of the southeastern Baltic Sea in 2003-2007. Annual average values of primary production and chlorophyll concentration for this area were 231 g C/m**2/year and 2.9 µg/l, respectively; i.e. they corresponded to the mesotrophic level according to the trophic classification. Spatial distribution of primary production and chlorophyll concentrations in different seasons and the annual average increased values exhibited at the northern coast of the Sambian Peninsula and in the Curonian Spit. In these areas values of primary production and chlorophyll concentrations corresponded to the eutrophic level.

2003—2007年，研究人员对波罗的海东南部俄罗斯海域的初级生产力与叶绿素a（chlorophyll a）浓度及其季节变化特征展开了调查。该区域初级生产力与叶绿素浓度的年平均值分别为231克碳/平方米/年与2.9微克/升，依据营养级分类标准，该水平对应中营养级（mesotrophic level）。不同季节下初级生产力与叶绿素浓度的空间分布，以及桑比安半岛北部沿岸、库尔斯沙嘴区域出现的年均值偏高特征，均显示上述区域的初级生产力与叶绿素浓度达到富营养级（eutrophic level）水平。
