We analyzed gene expression profiles to identify the genes responding to high ambient and heat stress conditions. We carried out a model study to confirm the outdoor research. The herbal plant Angelica gigas is one of the popular medicinal plants and is weak to heat stress, so its habitat on the Korean peninsula has been threatened by current climate changes. This study was conducted to gain a comprehensive understanding of acclimation, heat stress, and resistance of Angelica gigas.
