Rainfall data collected in an urban area of Boa Vista, Roraima, Northern Brazilian Amazon (2012-2014)

This dataset provides information on rainfall collected daily in Boa Vista city (state of Roraima), an urban area situated in a savanna ecoregion of the Northern Brazilian Amazonian. The data collected are part of the Raindrops Project (Projeto Pingos de Chuva), organized by the Meteorological Instrumentation Laboratory of the Escola Superior de Tecnologia - Universidade Estadual do Amazonas (EST-UEA). Data were collected between August-2012 and December-2014. Geographic coordinates: 2.849728 N and -60.666623 W (Datum WGS84). Altitude: ~82 m (a.s.l.). This dataset was supported in Boa Vista/Roraima by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq - Brazil) through a fellowship for R.I. Barbosa (CNPq 304204/2015-3).
