NZ.Natural Risk Areas, Coast Vulnerability Index.WMS

Kust Vulnerability Index is intended to be used when municipalities work with different forms of spatial planning, e.g. to identify vulnerable areas in the municipality that need to be addressed in the future. County administrative boards and other authorities may also use the maps for review and follow-up. Kust Vulnerability Index is based on the conditions that exist along the coast that can affect erosion, the forces that act against the coast and what societal values are at risk. Skåne is particularly affected, many Skåne coastal municipalities are already exposed to beach erosion. After Skåne, tools will be developed in similar ways for other counties, including Halland, Blekinge, eastern Småland, Öland and Gotland. Kust Vulnerability Index is developed in collaboration with SGU.
