Proteome database of Enterobacter cloacae EcWSU1

<i>Enterobacter cloacae</i> is a Gram-negative facultative anaerobic bacterium of clinical significance. A member of the gut microbiota, certain strains of <i>E. cloacae</i> is known to cause disease, which explains why there is increasing attention on understanding its pathophysiology. This work seeks to provide basic proteomic information of the bacterium by parsing the UniProt proteome file of <i>E. cloacae</i> ECWSU1 using an in-house MATLAB proteome analysis software. Overall, the presented proteome database should be useful in guiding genome editing experiments to understand how loss of function of particular genes affect pathogenesis of this emerging human pathogen. <br><br>
