Proteome database of Enterobacter cloacae EcWSU1

<i>Enterobacter cloacae</i> is a Gram-negative facultative anaerobic bacterium of clinical significance. A member of the gut microbiota, certain strains of <i>E. cloacae</i> is known to cause disease, which explains why there is increasing attention on understanding its pathophysiology. This work seeks to provide basic proteomic information of the bacterium by parsing the UniProt proteome file of <i>E. cloacae</i> ECWSU1 using an in-house MATLAB proteome analysis software. Overall, the presented proteome database should be useful in guiding genome editing experiments to understand how loss of function of particular genes affect pathogenesis of this emerging human pathogen. <br><br>阴沟肠杆菌（Enterobacter cloacae）是一种具有临床重要性的革兰氏阴性兼性厌氧菌。作为肠道菌群的组成成员，部分阴沟肠杆菌菌株已被证实可引发疾病，这也是当前学界对其病理生理学机制的研究关注度日益提升的核心原因。 本研究通过使用自研MATLAB蛋白质组分析软件，解析阴沟肠杆菌ECWSU1的UniProt蛋白质组文件，旨在获取该菌株的基础蛋白质组学信息。总体而言，本研究构建的蛋白质组数据库将可为基因组编辑实验提供科学指导，助力阐明特定基因功能缺失对这一新型人类致病菌致病机制的影响。
