Data are expressed as median (range) or as numbers unless specified otherwise. Abbreviations: NEC—necrotizing enterocolitis; NIRS—near-infrared spectroscopy; PDA—patent ductus arteriosus; PNA—postnatal age; RBC—red blood cell.
