Purple Goldenrod at Stong Pond

On the sunny day of September 21, 2015 at 3:00-4:30pm, data was collected from purple goldenrods—Solidago spp.—at Stong Pond York University. A transect tape was put from the shore towards land. Purple goldenrods that were easily identified next to the transect tape were recorded for its distance from the shore, height, number of leaves, number of flowers and crowdedness. The data was collected to see if there was any relationship between the four variables and its distance from the shore.

2015年9月21日晴，于当日下午3:00至4:30，在约克大学（York University）斯通塘（Stong Pond）区域采集紫一枝黄花（Solidago spp.）相关实验数据。沿湖岸向陆地布设一条样带卷尺，对样带旁易于辨识的紫一枝黄花，记录其离岸距离、株高、叶片数、花朵数及种群拥挤度。本次数据采集旨在探究上述四项变量与该植物离岸距离之间是否存在相关性。
