Insecticide residue database for Africa

An insecticide residue database was compiled for Africa from a literature review in Web of Knowledge to identify studies that measured insecticide residues in soil, sediment, water and air. The search terms that were used for the extraction of the literature are available as additional file in the manuscript. The database extracted the following data systematically from the individual papers: year and month(s) of sampling, sample collection methods and depth, insecticide extraction method, insecticide quantification method, quantification and detection limits, insecticide and insecticide class, the measured insecticide concentration and geographical coordinates.本研究针对非洲地区构建了一套杀虫剂残留数据库，数据来源于对Web of Knowledge的文献综述，旨在筛选出测定土壤、沉积物、水体与大气中杀虫剂残留量的相关研究。本次文献检索所用的检索词已作为附加文件附于论文手稿中。本数据库从单篇文献中系统性提取了以下信息：采样年份与月份、样品采集方法及采样深度、杀虫剂提取方法、杀虫剂定量方法、定量限与检测限、杀虫剂名称及其所属类别、实测杀虫剂浓度，以及采样点地理坐标。
