Data Description for Public Release This dataset comprises observational and model-derived data used in the associated study. The files and their contents are described as follows: Observation_data.xlsx:This Excel file contains five sheets: Sheet 1: Hydrometeorological observation data used to produce Figure S1. Sheets 2–5: Field observations and buoy time-series data used for Figures 2, S2 and S3. xmb_avg_0005.7z:This compressed archive includes model output of daily averaged data for May 2020, which supports the analysis presented in Figures 3 and 7. xmb_sta.nc:This NetCDF file contains high-resolution model output (30-minute intervals) at designated stations. The data are used to examine tidal-cycle bloom dynamics, contributing to Figures 4, 5 and S4. xmb_dia_005.nc:This NetCDF file includes model diagnostic outputs (3-hour intervals) for May 2020, which are used to generate Figure 6. bio_Fennel.in and roms_xmb.in:These two files are the input files for the ROMS-NPZD model.
