Lithostatistical variability of beach gravels along the Polish coast of Baltic Sea

Contribution of petrographic groups along the shore collected in the middle part of the beach; the Zingg-based grain shape parameters obtained during laboratory measurements.
Gravels with a dominant grain size diameter of 2–5 cm collected from the berm (or beach face) of dune and cliff sections of the Polish seacoast. The beach gravels were collected at a radius of about 50 m, along 250 m intervals of the coastline. Individual samples weighed from 2 to 5 kg and were sampled in 10 × 10 m squares. If the amount of collected material was above 2 kg, the sampling procedure was finished; if <2 kg, then the sampling area was expanded to 50 × 10 m rectangles.

本数据集涵盖海滩中部沿岸采集的岩相组（petrographic groups）的占比数据，以及实验室测量所得的基于Zingg法的颗粒形态参数。
本次采集的砾石主导粒径为2~5cm，采自波兰海岸沙丘与崖滩的滩肩（或海滩滨面）。采样沿海岸线以250米为间隔开展，单个采样点的采样半径约为50米。单个样品重量介于2~5kg之间，初始采样单元为10×10平方米的方格。若采集物料重量超过2kg，则终止采样流程；若不足2kg，则将采样区域扩大至50×10平方米的矩形区域。
