Annual dengue case notifications in 57 dengue endemic Colombian cities, 2008-2023

This dataset holds annual dengue case notifications and population for 57 Colombian cities classified as dengue endemic, for 2008-2023. It underlies the visualisation of annual dengue case incidence in the thee Wolbachia-treated cities of Bello, Medellin and Itagui compared with other endemic cities, pre and post Wolbachia implementation, reported in the paper by Velez et al "Reduced dengue incidence following city-wide wMel Wolbachia mosquito releases throughout three Colombian cities: interrupted time series analysis and a prospective case-control study" published in PLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases in 2023.
