Data on ash cuttings trials for paper entitled: Factors affecting the vegetative propagation of ash (Fraxinus excelsior L.) from semi-hardwood and hardwood cuttings

These data and R scripts were produced for the report entitled: "Factors affecting the vegetative propagation of ash (Fraxinus excelsior L.) from semi-hardwood and hardwood cuttings" - DOI: 10.1007/s11056-025-10103-y published in New Forests. This study was conducted as part of the Living Ash Project, which was funded by Defra. We tested the effects of stock plant age, mycorrhiza, rooting hormones, timing and substrate type on the rooting of ash cuttings in order to optimize current propagation techniques.本数据集配套的数据与R脚本，均为刊发于《新森林》（New Forests）、DOI编号为10.1007/s11056-025-10103-y的研究报告《欧洲白蜡（Fraxinus excelsior L.）半硬枝与硬枝插条营养繁殖影响因子》所制备。该项研究作为"活体白蜡项目"（Living Ash Project）的组成部分实施，由英国环境、食品与农村事务部（Defra）资助。为优化当前扦插繁殖技术，本研究探究了母株树龄、菌根（mycorrhiza）、生根激素、扦插时机以及基质类型对白蜡插条生根的影响。
