Data for: REBEn-2024-0082: Eventos adversos em centros cirúrgicos: frequência e análise do conteúdo das notificações

The database was extracted from the Brazilian system for reporting adverse events in health care (Notivisa). The database was generated considering the period from January 2019 to March 2023. Notifications of adverse events related to health care related to surgical care were detected by filtering the notifications registered by the surgical center with the “place of occurrence” filter. 163 notifications were detected in the period consulted (n = 163). In the original version, the system provides data related to reporting professionals such as name, email, contact telephone number and it is possible to know the institution where the professional works, therefore, these variables were excluded. For the present study, data from the columns were used: enter the type of incident, type of incident/adverse event, degree of damage, gender, age and period of occurrence.
