Data for "Population Density Modulates Coexistence in Cooperative and Cheating Kluyveromyces lactis Strains"

This archive contains all datasets used in the manuscript titled "Population Density Modulates Coexistence in Cooperative and Cheating Kluyveromyces lactis Strains" by Rodrigo Zorrilla González and Michael Travisano. The dataset includes four preprocessed CSV files corresponding to experiments measuring population dynamics, growth rates, and frequency-dependent fitness under varying settling densities. These data support all main and supplementary figures in the manuscript. Files included: BU_settling_dilutions.csv: Time-series CFU data at four densities for Snowflake and Co-Uni strains BU_followup.csv: CFU data comparing ancestral and evolved populations BU_time0_time15.csv: Growth curve OD600 data from 24-hour plate reader assay settling_fitness.csv: Fitness assay data for pre- and post-settling populations All datasets are formatted for direct use in R, with replicate and treatment structure preserved.
