SOCIAL AND CULTURAL FACTORS INFLUENCING CODE-SWITCHING (using Russian-Uzbek code switching as an example)

This article examines the social and cultural factors influencing code-switching in Russian-Uzbek linguistic interaction. Particular attention is paid to aspects such as social status, educational level, age, professional environment, national identity, and family traditions. Based on an analysis of communicative situations, the main causes and mechanisms of code-switching are identified. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the dynamics of bilingual communication and current trends in the language situation in Uzbekistan.本文探讨了影响俄语-乌兹别克语语言互动中语码转换（code-switching）的社会与文化因素。研究特别聚焦于社会地位、受教育水平、年龄、职业环境、民族认同与家庭传统等方面。本研究通过对交际情境的分析，明确了语码转换的主要成因与运作机制。本研究有助于更深入地理解双语交际的动态变化，以及乌兹别克斯坦语言现状的发展趋势。
