Floral transcriptome analysis of Agave amica (tuberose)

The aim of this project was to generate de novo transcriptome data of Agave amica (synonym: Polianthes tuberosa; tuberose) from unopened flower before anthesis. Generating such RNA-Seq data may help in getting an insight into the bio-genesis of floral scent volatiles.
