Classification of bainitic microstructures in electron microscopy images

The trainingset contains 932 scanning electron microscopy images of a bainitic steel seperated into three classes (i,ii,iii). These classes represent characteristic bainitic microstructures originated from steels with a specific cooling strategy. Class i contains lower bainite with small and elongated M-A islands, class ii shows an inhomogeneous mix of large and small M-A islands, while the largest M-A islands are visible in class iii. Data augmentation was used to increase the number of training samples and to provide a balance between the classes.The testdataset contains additional 386 images.<br>model.zip represents the trained tensorflow model in h5 format.<br><br>
