Expression analysis of human umbilical cord blood (hUCB) cells affected by OSA

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is common during pregnancy and is associated with adverse perinatal consequences, but it is not known whether it can also modulate fetal development processes. To understand the effects of OSA-affected mothers on fetus we analyzed the expression profile of hUCB cells under OSA conditions. To deeper study the potential molecular events triggered under OSA conditions during pregnancy, we compared the expression profile in hUCB cells obtained from five OSA and five non-OSA affected newborns.
