Giuliano de' Medici

This is a portrait of Fiuliano de' Medici (1453-1478), the younger brother of Lorenzo the Magnificent. The brothers were attacked during the Easter mass in Florence Cathedral, due to a conspiracy plotted by the rival Pazzi family. Lorenzo survived, while Giuliano did not, which is probably how this portrait came to be - to commemorate his memory after the tragic death.本作品为朱利亚诺·德·美第奇（Giuliano de' Medici，1453-1478）的肖像，其人系"华丽者洛伦佐"的幼弟。兄弟二人于佛罗伦萨大教堂（Florence Cathedral）的复活节弥撒期间遭遇袭击，此次袭击由敌对的帕齐家族（Pazzi family）策划的阴谋引发。洛伦佐侥幸生还，朱利亚诺则不幸遇害；这幅肖像大概率便是为纪念他的悲剧性早逝而创作的。
