M3_Snow_depth

M3 is one of six meteorological stations in the Zackenberg and Store Sødal Valley. Data from the station is found under meteorology (wind, temperature and relative humidity, short wave and long wave radiation, as well as NDVI), soil properties (soil moisture and soil heat flux) and snow properties (snow depth).
M3 is located on a gently south-west facing slope, half way up the mountain Aucella, in an elevation of 420 meters. The station was installed in 2003 and data recorded every half hour, except snow depth and soil moisture which was recorded every 6th hour until august 2012.
The vegetation underneath the mast is dominated by Salix Arctica.
Data was iniatially recorded using a CR10x Campbell scientific data logger, but this was changed to a CR1000 data logger in August 2012.

M3是扎肯本（Zackenberg）与Store Sødal谷内的六个气象站点之一。该站点的观测数据涵盖气象要素（风速、气温、相对湿度、短波辐射与长波辐射，以及归一化差分植被指数（NDVI，Normalized Difference Vegetation Index））、土壤要素（土壤湿度与土壤热通量）以及积雪要素（积雪深度）。
M3站点坐落于朝向西南的缓坡之上，地处奥塞拉山（Aucella）半山腰处，海拔420米。该站点于2003年布设，常规观测数据每半小时采集一次，但在2012年8月之前，积雪深度与土壤湿度的采集频率为每6小时一次。
观测塔下方的植被以北极柳（Salix Arctica）为优势物种。
早期观测数据采用坎贝尔科学（Campbell Scientific）CR10x型数据采集器进行记录，2012年8月起更换为CR1000型数据采集器。
