Research Artifacts of: GAPS: an educational resource for research artifact preparation and sharing

This artifact is associated with the paper "GAPS: an educational resource for research artifact preparation and sharing" submitted to the Software Engineering Education and Training (SEET) track of the 49th International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE 2027). GAPS: Guidance for Artifact Preparation and Sharing is an Open Educational Resource designed to support researchers in preparing, documenting, evaluating, sharing, preserving, and reusing research artifacts, particularly in Empirical Software Engineering. The resource comprises two components: GAPS Material, a collection of ten instructional modules and complementary resources, including a researcher-facing self-check, a README template, references, and a mind map; and GAPS Advisor, a conversational assistant that helps researchers navigate and understand the guidance provided by GAPS Material. The artifact package includes the complete GAPS educational resource, its complementary materials, configuration files, scripts, and research data associated with the development and evaluation of GAPS. It also provides instructions for running GAPS Material locally and configuring an independent instance of GAPS Advisor using Gemini Notebook. This version was prepared for double-anonymous review in connection with a paper submitted to the Software Engineering Education and Training (SEET) track of ICSE 2027.
