Understanding the secretory physiological response to feeding in Pacific White Shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) using the transcriptome

In this study, transcriptome analysis showed the identification of differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and molecular pathways that are involved in post-feeding secreted in L. vannamei, as well as discover new genes that have not been annotated in the genome. The study provides valuable insights into the secretory response (especially the secretion of metabolism-related enzymes) to feeding in L. vannamei, uncovering the significant role of both known and new genes. This study is closely related to the physiology and production of aquaculture animals, and the results will provide basic information for understanding the mechanism of L. vannamei coping with increasingly complex feed formulations.
