Mapping of the vegetation occurring on the Lower Macquarie River Floodplain\r\nbetween Gin Gin Weir (Trangie), Marebone Weir, Colane and Belah Dam (Nyngan) (approximately 3561km2) was conducted from air photo interpretation. Areas comprising predominantly natural vegetation was mapped at a scale of 1:50, 000, with a resolution of approximately 20 metres. Twenty different vegetation types, including wetland, floodplain and drier-country types were identified from analysis of floristic data collected from 90 quadrats. (VIS_ID 1032)
针对位于金金堰（Gin Gin Weir，特兰吉）、马雷本堰（Marebone Weir）、科莱恩（Colane）与贝拉水坝（Belah Dam，尼根）之间的下麦夸里河洪泛区（总面积约3561平方千米）的植被，通过航空像片解译（Air Photo Interpretation）方法完成了制图工作。
以约20米的空间分辨率、1:50000的比例尺，对以自然植被为主的区域开展了植被制图。
通过对90个野外样方（Quadrat）采集的植物区系数据（Floristic Data）开展分析，共识别出20类不同的植被类型，涵盖湿地、洪泛区及旱地植被类型。(VIS_ID 1032)
