Validating the extent of modelled "rare and vulnerable forest ecosystems" identified during the Southern CRA (1997-2000) was required for ecologically sustainable conservation management of reserves within the NPWS South Coast Region. The validation was for 47 forest ecosystems out of a total of 96 forest ecosystems that occur in the NPWS South Coast Region. Considerable improvements were made to the reliability and accuracy of the vegetation ecosystem map. Some 3000 edits were incorporated into the revised forest ecosystem map. Six new ecosystems were newly classified as part of this contract. VIS_ID 4155
为开展国家公园与野生动物管理局（National Parks and Wildlife Service, NPWS）南海岸区域内保护区的生态可持续保护管理工作，需对1997-2000年南部CRA（Southern CRA）期间识别出的经建模生成的"珍稀脆弱森林生态系统"的分布范围进行验证。本次验证覆盖该区域现存96种森林生态系统中的47种。本次工作大幅提升了植被生态系统地图的可靠性与精准度，经修订的森林生态系统地图共纳入约3000处修正内容。作为本合同任务的一部分，本次工作新划定了6种森林生态系统。VIS_ID 4155
