Permafrost Active Layer Thermal Monitoring in Livingston and Deception Islands (Antarctica). Action to the International Polar Year.

We send two types of data. One of them corresponding to the thermal active layer evolution, temperatures gradient measuring into the soil placed at 5, 15, 40, 90, 150 and 230 cm deep in the incinerator borehole and placed at 5, 15,40, 90 cm deep in the Sofia borehole, all of them located in Livingston Island. In Deception Island we have installed a CALM monitoring site with measuring of active layer deep. The other type of measuring was a 2-D electrical resistivity tomography profiles that was measured in Livingston and Deception Island.
