Temperature, pressure, and other data were collected using tide gauge and CTD casts from the Northwest Atlantic Ocean from May 1, 1977 to May 31, 1978. Data were submitted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)as part of the IDOE/POLYMODE (International Decade of Ocean Exploration / combination of USSR POLYGON project).
