This is a dataset for the responses of ammonium consumption to increased suspended particulate matter in the Jiulong River estuary in southern China. Using 15N-labeling experiments, we quantified ammonia oxidation (AO) and ammonium uptake (AU) in SPM addition experiments along the salinity gradient of the Jiulong River Estuary, a typically human-impacted eutrophic and turbid estuary in China.
本数据集聚焦中国南部九龙江河口区域悬浮颗粒物(suspended particulate matter, SPM)浓度升高对铵态氮消耗的响应。研究团队依托15N标记实验,在该河口的盐度梯度下开展SPM添加实验,定量测定了氨氧化作用(ammonia oxidation, AO)与铵摄取(ammonium uptake, AU)过程。九龙江河口是中国典型受人类活动影响的富营养化浊河口。
