Universidades Latino-americanas: Ranking Times Higher Education (THE), Força de Pesquisa, FWCI, Coautorias e outros dados de publicações

O conjunto de dados refere-se à dissertação “Nova metodologia dos rankings Times Higher Education e a pontuação em citações das universidades da América Latina” defendida em 18/12/2024 no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência da Informação da Universidade Federal de São Carlos (PPGCI/UFSCar) e ao artigo “A nova metodologia do ranking THE: o indicador Força de Pesquisa, a métrica FWCI e as coautorias nas universidades Latino-americanas” aceito para publicação na revista Em Questão ISSN (1808-5245). O conjunto de dados está disponível em um arquivo em formato compactado (ZIP) e contém 102 arquivos do Excel (.xlsx). São 100 arquivos xlsx com dados de publicações do período 2017 a 2021 extraído da plataforma SciVal, um para cada uma das 100 instituições mais bem posicionadas no Times Higher Education (THE) Latin America University Rankings 2022. Há também um arquivo xlsx que reúne os dados dos gráficos apresentados na dissertação e no artigo e outra planilha composta por duas abas: a primeira com dados extraídos do Times Higher Education (THE) Latin America University Rankings 2022 e a segunda com dados provenientes da plataforma SciVal, incluindo os cálculos realizados pelos pesquisadores. The dataset refers to the dissertation "New methodology of the Times Higher Education rankings and the citation scores of Latin American universities" defended on December 18, 2024, in the Graduate Program in Information Science at the Federal University of São Carlos (PPGCI/UFSCar) and to the article "The new methodology of the THE ranking: the Research Strength indicator, the FWCI metric and co-authorships in Latin American universities" accepted for publication in the journal Em Questão ISSN (1808-5245). The dataset is available in a compressed (ZIP) file format and contains 102 Excel files (.xlsx). There are 100 xlsx files with publication data from 2017 to 2021 extracted from the SciVal platform, one for each of the 100 best-ranked institutions in the Times Higher Education (THE) Latin America University Rankings 2022. There is also an xlsx file that brings together the data from the graphs presented in the dissertation and the article and another spreadsheet composed of two tabs: the first with data extracted from the Times Higher Education (THE) Latin America University Rankings 2022 and the second with data from the SciVal platform, including the calculations performed by the researchers.本数据集依托两项学术成果：其一为2024年12月18日于巴西联邦圣保罗大学（Universidade Federal de São Carlos）信息科学研究生项目（PPGCI/UFSCar）答辩的学位论文《泰晤士高等教育（Times Higher Education, THE）排名新方法与拉丁美洲高校的引文得分》；其二为被期刊《Em Questão》（ISSN 1808-5245）接收的论文《THE排名新方法：研究实力指标、FWCI指标（FWCI）与拉丁美洲高校的合著情况》。 本数据集以ZIP压缩文件（ZIP）形式发布，内含102个Excel（.xlsx）文件。其中100个.xlsx文件包含从SciVal平台（SciVal）提取的2017至2021年学术出版数据，分别对应2022年THE拉丁美洲大学排名前100的每所院校。剩余文件包括：一个汇总了上述学位论文与期刊论文中所用图表数据的.xlsx文件，以及一个包含两个工作表的电子表格：第一个工作表的数据取自2022年THE拉丁美洲大学排名，第二个工作表的数据来自SciVal平台，包含研究者完成的相关计算结果。
