资源简介:
The hard tick, Hyalomma anatolicum is an important vector of various bacterial, protozoal and viral diseases affecting domestic animals and human. Among these, tropical theileriosis one of the most economically disease caused by apicomplexan parasite, Theileria annulata. Tick salivary glands play a vital role to countermeasure host defenses by secreting immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory molecules which not only protects consistent tick feeding and also facilitate the parasite transmission and entablement into the host. Sialotrancriptome analyses of tick by the use of next generation sequencing (RNA-Seq) has effectively accelerated the research of vaccine candidate molecules to counter tick and tick-borne diseases. However, no such progress was reported in case of H. anatolicum tick previously. In this study, we performed de novo mRNA-seq of Hyalomma anatolicum using Illumina platform in an attempt to identify differentially expressed potential vaccinal candidates against T. annulata infection.
