Interview materials related to the Accessible Data experiment

The materials shared in this dataset were used during the interviews conducted as part of PLOS' project on incentivising best practice for data sharing. Interviewees were recruited to explore the data sharing attitudes and experiences of the researchers submitting to PLOS journals and readers of those articles.Those who agreed to participate completed a screener ("AccessibleData_Screeners.pdf") where they indicated their experience as well as availability for participation and were provided with information for participants​ ("Information for Participants - Accessible Data.pdf"). The semi-structured interviews were conducted via Zoom using the interview guides ("Author Interview Guide - Accessible Data" or "Reader Interview Guide - Accessible Data").Results from the interviews are not shared to protect participants' identity.<b>Acknowledgements</b>We would like to thank Louise Mayville and James Harney for contribution to these materials.
