We analyzed gene expression via RNA-sequencing in microglia isolated from postnatal day 9 rats exposed to normoxia or intermittent hypoxia, in the presence or absence of lipopolysaccharide P1 sprague dawley rat neonates (three biological replicates per sex and condition) were exposed to one of the following conditions: 1) 8 days of normoxia (21 % O2 followed by 3 hours saline injection (i.p.) 2) 8 days of normoxia followed by 3 hours lipopolysaccharide (LPS) injection (0.1 mg/kg i.p.) 3) 8 days of intermittent hypoxia (2 min cycles between 10.5% O2 and 21% O2 8 hrs/day) followed by vehicle injection and 3) 8 days of intermittent hypoxia followed by 3 hrs LPS injection). Microglia were immunomagnetically isolated following the vehicle or LPS injection and total RNA isolated for sequencing.
