Homo sapiens Raw sequence reads

To investigate the occurrence and development of glioblastoma, we performed the transcriptome sequencing in both glioblastoma tissues and cells. We collected the clinical recurrent glioblastoma tissues and their paired primary tissues from 2 patients who received standard-of-care chemo- and radio-therapies after surgery. Furthermore, glioblastoma U251 and U87 cells and their established radioresistant counterparts were prepared in triplicate for sequencing and analysis. The mRNA profiles of tissues and cells were generated by RNA-seq technology using BGIseq500 platform. The results revealed the difference between radiosensitive and radioresistant glioblastoma and provided theoretical and experimental basis for both the basal research and clinical treatment of glioblastoma.
