NMR based Metabolomics Analysis of fasting serum samples of Type-II Diabetes Mellitus
收藏资源简介:
The data belongs a Clinical metabolomics study. The study involves to understand the role of metabolic dysregulation, oxidative stress, and inflammation in the progression of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM), particularly in aging populations. Using NMR-based serum metabolomics, we identified distinctive metabolic alterations in glucose-alanine cycling, mitochondrial metabolism, and amino acid profiles, which are associated with inflammation and T2DM. Furthermore, statistical correlation analysis elucidated significant associations between metabolic features and clinical parameters, highlighting potential biomarkers such as glutamine-to-glucose (QGR) and alanine-to-glucose (AGR) ratios for improved diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. The study findings provide novel insights into the complex interplay between inflammation, aging, and metabolic dysregulation in T2DM, contributing to the growing body of knowledge in this field and offering promising avenues for clinical application.
