RNA-seq Facilitates Quantitative Analysis of brown adipose tissues (iBATs) from UTXKO and their respective WT control mice fed high fat diet (HFD) for 12 wks, D1KO and their respective WT control mice fed chow diet (CD) as well as WT mice fed CD and HFD.

Our RNA-seq analysis revealed a dramatic up-regulation of myogenic markers in the iBATs of UTXKO mice, D1KO mice and high fat diet-fed mice, suggesting a myocyte-like remodeling in brown fat.
