Fungal utilizers of maize straw derived C in Yellow-cinnamon soil with DNA-SIP analysis

To investigate the key fungal taxa and its mechanisms driving straw decomposition, soil microcosms with 13C-maize straw incorporated into soils under 8-year nitrogen fertilizer(CK), chemical fertilizer (NPK) and chemical fertilizer with straw returning (NPKS) treatments were specially carried out to elucidate the composition of straw C fungal assmilators and its varying pattern responding to decomposition time and fertilizer treatments.
