Model surface fields of currents, temperature, salinity and sea elevation from the GoM-HYCOM model (1/50 deg resolution) for 2010

This dataset is based on archives from the high resolution (1/50 deg) GoM-HYCOM model, which gives details on the fronts and filaments associated with the Mississippi River plume dynamics, as well as GoM meso-scale processes relevant to this study (in particular the LC frontal dynamics and their influence on plume transport). The model simulation covers the entire Gulf of Mexico and is in progress.

本数据集基于高分辨率（1/50度）的GoM-HYCOM模型（GoM-HYCOM）存档数据构建。该模型能够细致呈现与密西西比河羽流动力学相关的海洋锋面与丝缕状结构，同时涵盖本研究关注的墨西哥湾中尺度过程，具体包括环流（Loop Current, LC）锋面动力学特征及其对羽流输运的影响。本次模型模拟覆盖整个墨西哥湾，且仍在进行中。
