资源简介:
Cervical insufficiency is the inability of the cervix to sustain a pregnancy to term due to an anatomical or functional defect in the absence of contractions, eventually leading to miscarriage or premature birth. Cervical insufficiency is one of the main causes of fetal loss during the second trimester and an important risk factor for premature birth. When the structure and function of the cervix are abnormal, the cervix cannot effectively support the weight of the gradually increasing contents of the fetus, placenta, and amniotic fluid, resulting in premature birth. By studying the microbiota in cervical mucus samples from patients with cervical insufficiency, we can further reveal the cause of premature birth. The presence of some specific microbial flora may be closely related to the occurrence of preterm birth, thus providing a new target for the prevention and treatment of preterm birth. In addition, for the imbalance of specific microbial flora, microecological treatment methods such as probiotic supplements and vaginal flora transplantation can be used to restore the balance of cervical flora, so as to improve the pregnancy outcome of patients with cervical insufficiency.
