HISTORY OF THE CITY OF YANGIYER: PAST AND PRESENT

This article examines the history of the establishment and development of the city of Yangiyer based on archival documents. It discusses the granting of city status in 1957, the formation of the administrative system, and changes in industry, public utilities, as well as cultural and educational spheres. In addition, attention is paid to the control exercised over religious communities during the Soviet period, the organization of cultural events, and the meaningful use of leisure time by the population. The article provides a comparative analysis of the past and present state of Yangiyer and highlights the main stages of its development.本文基于档案文献，探讨扬吉耶尔（Yangiyer）建城与城市发展的历史脉络。文章论述了该市1957年获授城市地位的历程、行政体系的构建，以及工业、公用事业、文化与教育领域的发展变迁。此外，本文还关注苏联时期对宗教社群的管控、文化活动的组织开展，以及民众休闲生活的合理利用情况。本文同时对扬吉耶尔的过往与现状开展对比分析，并梳理了其城市发展的核心阶段。
