本项目构建了用于原位测定铁同位素比值的赤铁矿参考物质快速制备方法数据集,由中国地质大学(武汉)、西北大学相关重点实验室及武汉上谱分析科技有限责任公司联合完成测试。测试使用 Nu Plasma 1700 MC-ICP-MS 等设备,对全岩和微区原位铁同位素组成进行测定。全岩铁同位素测量采用 IRMM - 014 标准溶液的 SSB 法,经样品稀释、背景校正与多循环测量,得到高精度的 56Fe/54Fe 同位素比值。原位铁同位素分析精确控制质量分辨率、激光参数和气体条件,以 SSB 法和烧结赤铁矿为参考,在时间分辨模式下获取数据并用 ISO-Compass 软件处理。此数据集可用于判断赤铁矿参考物质铁同位素组成的均匀程度,校正实际样品,进而体现所制备赤铁矿参考物质的实用性,为相关研究提供重要支撑。
This project develops a dataset of rapid preparation methods for hematite reference materials used for in-situ determination of iron isotope ratios, which was jointly tested by relevant key laboratories of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Northwest University, and Wuhan Shangspect Analytical Technology Co., Ltd. The test employed equipment such as Nu Plasma 1700 MC-ICP-MS to analyze the bulk rock and micro-area in-situ iron isotope compositions. For bulk rock iron isotope measurement, the Standard-Sample Bracketing (SSB) method using IRMM-014 standard solution was adopted. After sample dilution, background correction and multi-cycle measurement, high-precision 56Fe/54Fe isotope ratios were obtained. For in-situ iron isotope analysis, mass resolution, laser parameters and gas conditions were precisely controlled. Taking the SSB method and sintered hematite as references, data were acquired in time-resolved mode and processed with ISO-Compass software. This dataset can be used to assess the homogeneity of iron isotope compositions in the prepared hematite reference materials, correct real samples, thereby demonstrating the practical value of these reference materials, and providing critical support for relevant research.
